1. Motorsport Engineering Intern – Year-In-Industry 2026-27 – [More Details]
Alpha 7 Motorsport is offering an immersive, year-long Engineering Placement for a university student between their 2nd and 3rd year of study. This hands-on role is designed to give the successful candidate real-world motorsport experience in both the workshop and trackside settings, working alongside experienced engineers and mechanics on Caterham race cars. This 12–18 month role is designed to develop confident junior race mechanics with genuine trackside capability. Applications remain open until we appoint the right candidate.

We are expanding, and we are looking for skilled, committed individuals to support our championship-winning Caterham race programme.

Roles
We’re always interested in hearing from individuals who are interested in:
- * Work Experience Opportunities: Gain invaluable hands-on experience in motorsport, working alongside our expert team on everything from car setups to team operations. (Year 12+)
- * Race Weekend Work: Contribute your skills during race weekends, supporting our team trackside and behind the scenes.
Roles may include tasks such as:
- * Preparing and loading cars and equipment for race meetings
- * Assisting with car maintenance and set-up during events
- * Supporting hospitality, including awning and trailer set-up
- * Helping ensure smooth logistics for team operations.
